The Bachelor of Library and Information Science (BLIS) course is designed to provide students with a foundational understanding of library and information science. The course aims to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of information systems, including libraries, archives, and other information organizations.

Eligibility for BLIS Course:  A candidate seeking admission must be a graduate in Engineering/Arts/Science/Commerce/BCA & Other equivalent Graduation (with minimum 45% marks) from a recognized Institution/University.

BLIS Course Structure: There shall be a total of eight papers of 100 Marks.

1. It has 5 Theory Papers and Each Paper shall be two parts -

(a) Written Examination: 80 Marks

(b) Evaluation of Internal Assignment: 20 Marks. 

2. Two practical papers and one Project Work having viva voce. Examination carrying 100 Marks each.
